Dr. Elliott graduated from the University of Glasgow, UK, with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. She has over three decades of experience working in companion animal practice and is the designated veterinarian for the Cats Protection rescue center, Harrow.

In addition to hands-on work in the clinic, Dr. Elliott is a veterinary copywriter, which includes a role as a developmental editor for small animal, veterinary textbooks from Improve International (a major provider of veterinary continuing professional development). She also writes a regular newsletter piece for the Webinar Vet and contributed to The Veterinary Times.

Dr. Elliott is also qualified as an Official Veterinarian to oversee the export of animal products abroad, and her personal motto for life is “If you want something done, ask a busy person.”

After graduating as a vet from the University of Nottingham, Dr Joanna Woodnutt went on to practice small animal medicine in the UK. After several years in the midlands, she relocated to the Channel Islands, where she now occasionally practices as a relief veterinarian, and spends the rest of her time writing about pets. Joanna believes that sharing the knowledge she has gained is one of the most useful things she can do to help pet parents understand and care for their companions.

Amber LaRock is a Licensed Vet Tech that took her career online to spread knowledge on animal health and welfare. She graduated from the Cedar Valley Veterinary Technology Program in 2015 with an A.A.S in Veterinary Technology, and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in Texas in 2016.

Amber began her career in emergency medicine and critical care, and has now been working at an emergency animal hospital for 6 years. With the experience she gained from her time working in emergency medicine, Amber has been able to spread accurate information online in all realms of pet health. If she is not at her laptop, or back home visiting family, you can find her somewhere in the world, cuddling every furry friend that she can find!

Dr. Intile is a board-certified veterinary oncologist. She received her DVM from Cornell University and then completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Long Island Veterinary Specialists. She completed a three-year residency in medical oncology at Cornell, after which she worked in private specialty veterinary practices in Rochester NY, Gaithersburg MD, and Riverhead NY. 

Dr. Intile has authored and co-authored several research articles and book chapters within the field of veterinary oncology. She was featured as one of the “Daily Vet” bloggers on PetMD.com for over two years. She is a certified veterinary journalist, who focuses on distributing accurate educational material to pet owners, with an emphasis on improving the perception of cancer treatment in animals.
